Microequities was established in 2005 as a specialised investment research house dedicated to Australian Microcaps. The skill set and experience of our investment team, our research capabilities and our investment philosophy provide us with a unique vantage point into an attractive asset class, Australian Small and Microcap companies.

Research
Microcaps come in differing aspects of quality. Some are poorly managed businesses. Others might never make a profit. Some are undervalued others are overvalued. Some have very strong growth prospects, others are stagnant. There are more than 1400 Microcap companies listed on the ASX. It’s a vast investment universe, and one that requires research and expertise in valuation and investment appraisal. In short, for the inexperienced investor, it is a difficult asset class to navigate alone. Microequities Asset Management undertakes careful analysis of every company it invests in. We interview the management and conduct valuations on the company. We analyse the industry and it future prospects. We do the ground work, so that our investors can benefit from our research process and insight.

Our Deep Value Microcap Fund
We believe that the Microcap asset class presents long term investors with a combination of better value and higher growth prospects. Our managed Fund has a discerning and discriminating mandate; we do not seek to invest in 50 or 60 Microcap companies. We believe in our research and investment process. We believe that our selection process encapsulates the value we bring to our investors as Fund Managers. We therefore hold a small concentrated portfolio of growing, profitable Microcap companies, and we hold those companies for an intended long term investment cycle.
